Halkbank stated that the criminal case in the US Southern District Court of New York was dismissed by court decision, thus definitively ending the judicial process that had been going on for years against the bank in the US. The bank announced that it will continue to carry out its activities in accordance with national and international regulations.
In the statement made by Halkbank to KAP, the following statements were made:
“As a result of the hearing held in the US Southern District Court of New York on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 (today), the Court approved the dismissal of our Bank’s criminal case in the USA. Thus, the criminal case against our Bank, which has been going on for years in the USA, has been definitively and finally closed.
