The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) published the “Weekly Securities Statistics”.
Last week, foreign investors residing abroad bought $579.4 million worth of stocks, $243 million worth of Government Domestic Debt Securities (GDDS), and sold $6.8 million worth of Sector Issues Other than General Government (PST).
Accordingly, in the week of April 17, non-residents bought 579.4 million dollars of stocks, 243 million dollars of GDS and sold 6.8 million dollars of ÖST.
The stock of non-residents, which was 42 billion 421.7 million dollars in the week of April 10, increased to 44 billion 138.4 million dollars in the week of April 17. In the same period, while the GDDS stock increased from 15 billion 208.7 million dollars to 15 billion 278.1 million dollars, the ÖST stock decreased from 1 billion 945.9 million dollars to 1 billion 931.8 million dollars.
Foreigners had purchased $430.3 million worth of shares and $712.7 million worth of bonds the previous week.
