The US marine has lost a fighter jet in the Red Sea. Enemy forces had nothing to do with it.

A US marine fighter plane fell into the sea from an aircraft carrier in the Red Sea. A soldier was injured, the US Navy said. The fighter jet of type F/A-18E on board the “USS Harry S. Truman” was in tow when he had loosened and fell on board, the navy said. How this came about should now be examined. Only a sailor was slightly injured.

The aircraft carrier Uss Harry S. Truman is in use against the Huthi militia in Yemen. According to the navy, a fighter plane of this type costs almost $ 70 million (more than 60 million euros).
