The deportation of hundreds of people from the USA to El Salvador was “illegal” in the opinion of a US federal judge and has to end. Judge Fernando Rodriguez Jr. came to this conclusion on Thursday, as the US portal “Politico” reports.
“Members of the government cannot rely on the Alien Enemies Act to capture Venezuelan citizens in the United States, to move them or to bring them out of the country,” quotes “Politico” from the judgment. The government’s actions are not covered by the law and is therefore “illegal”. The Trump government has not yet responded to the judgment. The US government has so far ignored other judges’ sayings in the matter.
