US President Donald Trump plans a tax reform that would cost the state of trillion. In contrast, his familiar Elon Musk is now running storm.

Elon Musk is actually the close confidant of US President Donald Trump. The billion -dollar entrepreneur has released hundreds of thousands of national workers on his behalf. This should supposedly lower government spending. But Musk sees this goal in danger through Trump’s tax plans – and is now violating his “great, beautiful law”.

“I’m sorry, but I can’t take it anymore,” Musk opened his tirade on his platform X. “This massive, outrageous, with pork -filled expenditure law of the congress is a disgusting hideousness,” continued Musk. “Shame about those who voted: You know that you acted wrong. You know.” The expression “filled with pork” describes gifts to voters in American English.

The last part of the message referred to the Republicans in the House of Representatives who had approved Trump’s tax plans almost two weeks ago. The vote in the Senate is still pending. Trump also meets resistance there. This is inflamed primarily to the massive increase in the government debt, which would bring the reform. Trump’s law provides for massive tax relief, especially for wealthy.

According to the household office of the congress, the reform would cost the state the equivalent of almost 3.4 trillion euros in ten years and increase the state deficit to the equivalent of almost 32 trillion euros. US state debt is already 120 percent of gross domestic product (GDP). For comparison: in Germany the quota is currently almost 63 percent of GDP. As early as this year, the United States has to pay more than 777 billion euros in interest – that is more than the entire defense budget.

In an interview with the broadcaster CBS, Musk had expressed criticism of the planned tax reform last week – but much milder in the tone. Now the boss of Tesla and SpaceX literally got out of the planned law: “It will increase the gigantic state deficit to $ 2.5 trillions (!!!) massively and burden American citizens with inconsiderable debts,” wrote Musk in another X-Post. “The congress lets America go bankrupt,” added Musk in a third post.

It was only on Friday that Musk announced at a press conference in the White House that he would largely withdraw from his work as a consultant of the US President and concentrate on his companies again. During the joint appearance with President Trump, nothing indicated a dumping of the two. Personally, Trump has not commented on Musk’s allegations.

His press spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said on Tuesday in front of journalists: “The President knows what Elon Musk thinks of the law. But that doesn’t change the opinion of the president. It is a great, beautiful law, and he stands.”
