World Ethnosport Confederation President Bilal Erdoğan, in an event he attended in Kocaeli, made the following statement regarding the EYT regulation: “Young people were deceived here. By the way, I also qualified for EYT (those who are stuck at retirement age), despite my opposition. People aged 42-45 retired. Who will pay their salaries? You will pay. You will pay the salaries of early retirees as long as you work. Were we deceived? We were deceived. EYT was a great disaster.”
Düzce Mayor Faruk Özlü also made a statement regarding EYT.

“EYT is a conspiracy imposed on us by the 6-party table during the election process. There is no retirement age of 40 anywhere in the world. Its effects will be seen until 2044. It is the biggest dynamite placed on the foundation of the Turkish economy in the history of the Republic.
The main person responsible for this damage is the former General Manager of SGK and his political team.
