US President Donald Trump has warned Israel of breaking the ceasefire with Iran. “Don’t throw these bombs off,” he wrote on his Truth Social platform. “If you do it, that’s a serious violation. Get your pilots home immediately!” He continued.
Shortly afterwards, Trump announced that the ceasefire between Iran and Israel was still in force. Israel will not attack Iran that all planes would reverse, the Republican wrote on Truth Social. Previously, he had accused both countries of injuring the ceasefire.
He accuses Iran and Israel of having broken the ceasefire that has just come into force. “I think both of them hurt them,” said the Republican of journalists in Washington. “Basically, we have two countries that have been fighting so long and so violently that they no longer know what the hell they are doing,” he said.
In the night of Tuesday, Trump had declared that Israel and Iran had agreed to a ceasefire that should be implemented gradually. On Tuesday morning, he wrote in his online service Truth Social that the fire break was “now into force”. So far, Iran has not officially confirmed the agreement. The Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghtschi indicated that Tehran was ready to hire the attacks on Israel if Israel ended his attacks.
Shortly afterwards, Iran Israel apparently attacked several rockets. Israel then announced retaliation. Defense Minister Israel Katz said that he instructed the Israeli armed forces “to react vigorously with intensive attacks on regime goals in the heart of Tehran at the violation of Iran”.
