The US President tells a US boulevard leaf that he spoke to the Kremlin boss. But he does not want to deliver details.

In an interview with an alleged conversation with Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin, US President Donald Trump reported on the Ukraine War. However, according to the “New York Post”, he left open when the phone call was said to have taken place. The interview was therefore led on board the presidential machine Air Force One on the night of Saturday, but the boulevard leaf only published excerpts from it now and without the exact wording. When asked how often he spoke to the Russian president, Trump replied: “I better not say that.”

The Republican had recently reacted with a striking response to inquiries whether he had been on the phone with Putin since taking office on January 20. After a conversation by the US President, the White House usually publicly informs about the exchange with another head of state or government. A request from the German Press Agency to the United States National Security Council initially remained unanswered.

A few days after Trump’s election victory in November, the “Washington Post”, citing informed people, reported on a telephone call of the 78-year-old with Putin. At the time, however, the Kremlin denied that a conversation had taken place. On Friday, Putin’s spokesman Dmitri Peskow said that there will be substantial information about an exchange between Trump and the Russian President.

Donald Trump told the “New York Post” that Putin would take care of the dead on the battlefield. “He doesn’t want other people to die,” Trump is said to have said about the Russian president. According to the “New York Post”, the national security advisor Mike Waltz was also on board the machine during the interview. Trump – possibly in allusion to Putin and the Ukrainian President Wolodymyr Selenskyj – should have said: “Let us get these meetings going. They want to meet. People die every day. Young, good -looking soldiers are killed. Young men are killed Like my sons on both sides.

As already previously previously, Trump emphasized the report that he had a “good relationship” with a Kremlin chief. In addition, he co -responsible for the war between Russia and Ukraine and claimed that he had once again been responsible for the war between Russia and Ukraine. Trump also assured that he had a plan to end the war.

The last time Biden was on the phone with Putin in February 2022, a few days before the Kremlin chief started the war of attack against Ukraine. Trump repeatedly claimed in the election campaign that he could end the war within 24 hours – but without specifying how he imagines it. In Ukraine it is feared that the USA under Trump could drastically return its support for the attacked country and force a peace solution, from which Russia is actually the winner.
