The energy consumption of data centers and systems that run the artificial intelligence models stands out as an important issue both environmentally and economically.
In this context, the employment of artificial intelligence models, especially the large language models that are widely used, energy consumption and infrastructure requirements bring resource spending.
It is emphasized that each query creates a load on systems and this leads to cost, even at a micro level. In this context, while using artificial intelligence models, avoiding unnecessary and very long queries will contribute to reducing costs.
“Artificial intelligence leads to radical changes in the business world”
Turkish Software Federation (TÜYAFED) Chairman Mustafa Çalış said that technology wars in the world are continuing rapidly and that the countries that invest in artificial intelligence may have a say in the future.
Stating that Türkiye can be among the top 20 countries in the Artificial Intelligence League, Çalış, “Artificial Intelligence leads to radical changes by offering exciting opportunities in today’s business world and creating significant challenges.” he said.
Pointing out that the automation capabilities of artificial intelligence, some routine and recurrent tasks lead to the transition from people to machines, Çalış said that this situation poses concerns about the narrowing of employment in certain business lines, but also revealed new business areas.
Noting that artificial intelligence technologies make business processes more efficient and faster, Çalış said that decision -making processes can be more accurate thanks to the in -depth analysis and predictions of artificial intelligence.
