İslam Memiş described the current situation as “purgatory” and said that the news coming over the weekend would determine the fate of the new week.
According to Memiş, if the tension in the Middle East decreases and an agreement is reached between the parties, an optimistic picture will emerge in the markets. Stating that in this scenario, ounce gold may move towards the level of 5 thousand 200 dollars, the expert stated that gram gold can be tested between 7 thousand and 7 thousand 500 TL.
He stated that in the same period, the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul could target the level of 16 thousand points.
