The construction cost index recorded 0.7 percent on a monthly basis in December 2024 and 34.27 percent on an annual basis.
Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) announced the construction cost index data for the December 2024 period.
Accordingly, the index increased by 0.7 percent in December 2024 compared to the previous month and 34.27 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.
Monthly on a monthly basis material index increased by 0.41 percent and the labor index increased by 1.29 percent. The material index on an annual basis increased by 26.18 percent and the labor index increased by 54.35 percent.
Building Construction Cost Index, December 2024 compared to the previous month, 0.66 percent, 34.67 percent compared to the same month of the previous year increased. The material index increased by 0.4 percent and the labor index increased by 1.18 percent compared to the previous month. In addition, the material index increased 26.81 percent and the labor index rose by 53.38 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.
The construction cost index for out -of -building buildings increased by 0.81 percent in December 2024 compared to the previous month and 33 percent compared to the same month of the previous year. Compared to November 2024, the material index increased by 0.42 percent and the labor index increased by 1.69 percent. In addition, the material index compared to the same month of the previous year, 24.27 percent, the labor index increased by 57.92 percent.
