Recordings of Chinese landing boats give no guys: they are particularly suitable for an invasion – for example in Taiwan.

The tensions between Taiwan and China are increasing. On Thursday, Taiwanese President Lai Ching-Te Beijing called an “enemy foreign power” and announced a plan of how the island state wants to encounter the threats from China. These include President Chinese espionage campaigns, infiltrations and departure attempts from Taiwanese managers and a threat to the independence of the country. The statements are no coincidence.

China sees Taiwan as part of his state and calls for integration. Taiwan, on the other hand, sees himself as an independent republic and fears that China wants to enforce its interests militarily. The rulers in Beijing repeatedly carry out patrol flights near the island and let warships drive close to Taiwan.

Now videos of new Chinese landing boats have appeared. These have very long booms at the front and are suitable for quickly getting troops and material from ships ashore. You would be well equipped for landing on the coast of Taiwan. As reports, among other things, the naval side “Naval News”, China is said to build five such large landing boats, which are particularly designed for attacks on coastal regions. They were discovered in a shipyard in Guangzhou.

In January there were already satellite shots of the ships, now there are apparently detailed videos. There are long booms on these that are up to 120 meters long. The boats themselves are about 185 meters long, reports “Naval News”. For example, the booms can be placed beyond the beach on a street or on a firm surface. Military vehicles can then immediately use the traffic infrastructure of the attacked country.

At the rear end, other ships can create and reload material, according to “Naval News”. The landing boats are supposed to act as a jetty through which the Chinese army gets quick access to the country.

Dr. Emma Salisbury, a scientist at the British Council for Geostrategies, told “Naval News” that “every invasion of Taiwans would require a large number of ships from the mainland to quickly transport personnel and equipment via the meters, in particular land equipment such as armored vehicles”. These mobile piers seem to be particularly suitable for an invasion, says Salisbury: “As preparation for an invasion or at least to give China the option as a means of pressure, I would expect the construction of ships to be carried out that can be carried out.”

In theory, these boats could also be built for civilian use, but their size makes this unlikely. But it fits into the china scheme to build boats with alleged duplicate use. Research ships and a drone carrier have been developed that can also be used by the military – or are already being used.

This is also confirmed by researcher Salisbury: “China builds a huge fleet of ships with a double usage purpose-merchant ships that can easily be confiscated for military purposes if necessary. This includes in particular roll-on/roll-off ships that would be perfect for the transport of military vehicles-and in fact, military specifications in the back of the head.”

So far, according to “Naval News”, experts had assumed that a landing of Chinese troops on the few beaches was difficult, also because they can be easily defended. The new ships can also put on a rocky coast and let tank roll directly onto a nearby road. The Chinese military is no longer dependent on taking Taiwanese ports.
