Central Bank reserves decreased by 7.9 billion dollars

Total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) reached 149 billion 205 million dollars in the week of June 26, with a decrease of 7 billion 991 million dollars compared to the previous week.

CBRT announced weekly money and bank statistics.

Accordingly, as of June 26, the Central Bank’s gross foreign exchange reserves decreased by 5 billion 260 million dollars to 54 billion 251 million dollars. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of 59 billion 511 million dollars on June 19.

During this period, gold reserves decreased by 2 billion 731 million dollars, from 97 billion 685 million dollars to 94 billion 954 million dollars.

Thus, the total reserves of the Central Bank decreased by 7 billion 991 million dollars in the week of June 26 compared to the previous week, from 157 billion 196 million dollars to 149 billion 205 million dollars.
