CBRT announced the capacity utilization rates for February. Accordingly, capacity utilization in manufacturing decreased to 74 percent in February.
Seasonally adjusted Capacity Utilization Rate (CUR-MA) throughout the manufacturing industry decreased by 0.4 points compared to the previous month and was realized at 74.0 percent. Capacity Utilization Rate (CUR), not adjusted for seasonal effects, decreased by 0.6 points compared to the previous month and was realized at 73.5 percent.
Compared to the previous month, the Capacity Utilization Rate in Consumer Goods decreased to 71.2 percent, while the rate in Durable Consumer Goods increased to 66.7 percent. It decreased to 72.1 percent in non-durable consumer goods, 74.9 percent in intermediate goods and 70.1 percent in investment goods.
