According to the figures announced by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, the budget deficit was 532.2 billion TL in September. Non-interest deficit amounted to 269.2 billion TL.
While revenues were 1 trillion 253.1 billion TL, expenses were 1 trillion 785.4 billion TL.
The statement made by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance is as follows;
“In September 2026, central government budget expenditures were 1 trillion 785.4 billion TL, budget revenues were 1 trillion 253.1 billion TL and budget deficit was 532.2 billion TL. In addition, non-interest budget expenses were 1 trillion 522.4 billion TL and non-interest deficit was 269.2 billion TL.
In the January-September period of 2026, central government budget expenses were 13 trillion 948.1 billion TL, budget revenues were 12 trillion 107.8 billion TL and the budget deficit was 1 trillion 840.3 billion TL. In addition, non-interest budget expenditures were 11 trillion 697 billion TL and the primary surplus was 410.8 billion TL.”
