In the images taken by Webb, Neptune’s atmosphere of a Camgöberi -colored auroras drew attention. Scientists stressed that this discovery will provide important information about the planet’s magnetic field and atmospheric dynamics.

Henrik Melin, the chief writer of the University of Northumbria, who conducted the research, said, “Apparently it is only possible to view Aurora activity in Neptune only with the close infrared sensitivity of WebB. Not only to see Auroras, but the detail and clarity of the signature really shocked me,” he said.
