Zelensky coordinates with Ursula von der Leyen and European heads of government before meeting with Donald Trump. The search for a possible end to the Russian war of aggression continues.

Before his meeting with US President Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky speaks with European allies. According to a spokeswoman for the EU Commission in Brussels, a telephone conversation will take place in the evening with Zelensky, Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and some European heads of state and government.

US President Donald Trump receives Zelensky on Sunday. The White House announced the bilateral meeting in Palm Beach, Florida, at 3:00 p.m. local time (9:00 p.m. CET). At the new top meeting, discussions will continue about a possible end to the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine, which has been going on for almost four years. Russia was not mentioned in the announcement, so talks with Moscow did not initially appear to be planned.
