After Instagram was blocked, users started using VPNs to access the platform. However, using a VPN also brings with it many security issues.
Isparta University of Applied Sciences Cyber Security Center Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ali Süzen stated that caution should be exercised when using VPN.
Süzen told reporters that recently, people have been accessing banned applications by connecting to the internet from European Union countries or different continents using VPN.
Süzen, who pointed out that this situation could be risky in terms of security, noted that all transactions are made through a different source and that these sources can be monitored by the people or countries that developed the application.
