ASELSAN achieved firsts in NATO exercise

According to the statement made by ASELSAN; ASELSAN products actively used by the Turkish Armed Forces, one of the most important armies of NATO, Transportable Battery Command and Control Operations Center (HAKİM-ADOC/T), Fire Direction Device (KORKUT 130/35), Pedestal Mounted Stinger (KMS ZIPKIN) and MANPADS Team In the NATO Ramstein Legacy 2024 Integrated Air and Missile Defense Exercise, in which it participated with its equipment and systems, ASELSAN systems; It became the first short-range air defense systems to carry out an integrated air defense exercise with Turkey’s NATO elements.

In the exercise held in Romania, ASELSAN air defense command control and weapon systems were deployed in the common area with other systems in NATO countries and shared air pictures with the systems of Germany, Hungary and Portugal through the Transportable Battery Command and Control Operations Center (HAKİM-ADOC/T). It worked successfully and fully integrated with NATO systems throughout the exercise, providing engagement management and tactical data link message transmission. HAKİM-ADOC/T was connected to NATO systems, which are high command and control elements, via tactical data link, and joint air picture sharing, engagement management and tactical data link message transmission with KORKUT 130/35, KMS ZIPKIN and MANPADS were successfully achieved. During the exercise, KMS ZIPKIN firing was also successfully carried out by Turkish Air Force teams.
