Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat shared foreign trade data for April with the public. According to the announced data, Türkiye’s exports increased by 22.3 percent compared to the same month last year, reaching 25.4 billion dollars.

Minister Bolat emphasized that the figure in question is both the highest April export to date and the second highest monthly export performance of all time.

Stating that the strong increase in exports reveals the competitiveness of the Turkish economy in production and foreign markets, Bolat stated that this success achieved despite the difficult conditions in the global economy is an important indicator.

Authorities state that the search for new markets and support policies will continue to ensure that exports continue their upward trend throughout the rest of the year.
