CD Projekt Red will offer The Witcher 3 Remastered for free on September 29. CD Projekt Red announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered will be released on September 29 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The update will be available free of charge to existing owners of the game and will bring numerous new features as well as visual improvements.
WITCHER 3 REMASTERED WILL BE FREE!
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, released in 2015, will be adapted to today’s standards with the new version. Players who own the original copy of The Witcher 3 will be able to switch to the Remastered version without paying any additional fee.

THE COMBAT SYSTEM IS BEING DESIGNED FROM THE REST
One of the most comprehensive changes in the remastered version will be made in the combat system. While some criticized mechanics in the game will be rearranged, the behavior of the enemies will be improved and new finishing attack animations will be added. Geralt’s mobility will also be expanded; The character will be able to jump over fences and use stairs faster.

NEW REGION WITH SONGS OF THE PAST
CD Projekt Red also made the first trailer for Songs of the Past, the new expansion pack for The Witcher 3, which will be released in 2027. The paid expansion will take players to a new region called Letten.
