The appointment decision, signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, was published in the Official Gazette.
Accordingly, Fidan, who was acting as BOTAŞ General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Directors, was appointed as BOTAŞ General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Fidan, who graduated from Middle East Technical University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering, completed his master’s degree in Economic Theory at Gazi University, Institute of Social Sciences.
Fidan also has expertise in International Relations from Ankara University European Communities Research and Application Center.
Fidan, who speaks English, worked as an engineer, manager, deputy head of department, head of department, deputy general manager and member of the board of directors at BOTAŞ.
