According to the decision published by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance in the Official Gazette yesterday, the SCT on diesel has been reset to zero until the end of August. Previously, 7.77 TL Special Consumption Tax was collected per liter. After the decision, vehicle owners began to expect discounts on diesel.
Special Consumption Tax on diesel will be applied as 3 TL per liter in September and 6 TL in October. So, will the resetting of Special Consumption Tax provide a discount on diesel?
For this, calculations will be made according to fuel distribution networks and the price of diesel. It will be clear today whether there will be a discount or not.
