Russia: Many dead after Ukrainian drone attack

In its defensive battle against Moscow’s war of aggression, Kyiv is defending itself with increasingly massive drone attacks. This time many people are dying in the Russian republic of Tatarstan.
According to authorities, at least 13 people were killed in a Ukrainian drone attack in Nizhnekamsk in the Russian republic of Tatarstan. The government in the capital Kazan said 48 people were also injured. Republic leader Rustam Minnikhanov officially declared mourning in Tatarstan.
The mayor of Nizhnekamsk, Radmir Belyayev, had previously reported a massive attack by Ukrainian drones on industrial facilities and civilian objects as well as deaths. Ukrainian media reported that one of the largest oil refineries there had been attacked. The General Staff later confirmed in Kyiv the attack on the “Taneko” refinery in Nizhnekamsk.
In its defense against Moscow’s war of aggression, Kiev repeatedly attacks Russian oil industry facilities. The aim is to deprive Moscow’s war machine of important income, for example from energy exports. Recently, an increasing number of civilians have been killed in the Ukrainian counterattacks.
