According to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data, the number of vehicles registered in traffic in the first half of the year decreased by 11.7 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, falling to 962 thousand 739. 456 thousand 50 of the vehicles in question were registered as cars.
When looking at the color distribution of the cars registered during this period, it was seen that the most preferred color was “grey”.
In the 6 months of the year, 190 thousand 529 gray cars were registered to traffic. This was followed by white with 117 thousand 4, black with 54 thousand 144, blue with 44 thousand 877, green with 25 thousand 379, red with 14 thousand 634 and brown with 5 thousand 988. During this period, 1576 orange and 1370 yellow cars were registered to traffic.
When we look at the distribution of cars registered according to brands in the January-June period of this year, Renault came to the fore.
In the first half of the year, 15 thousand 136 Renault brand cars were registered to traffic. This was followed by Hyundai with 5 thousand 248, Volkswagen with 4 thousand 908 and Fiat with 4 thousand 791.
