Central Bank reserves increased by 5.1 billion dollars

Total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) increased by 5 billion 115 million dollars in the week of June 19 compared to the previous week and reached 157 billion 196 million dollars.

CBRT announced weekly money and bank statistics.

Accordingly, as of June 19, the Central Bank’s gross foreign exchange reserves increased by 6 billion 387 million dollars and reached 59 billion 511 million dollars. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of 53 billion 124 million dollars on June 12.

During this period, gold reserves decreased by 1 billion 272 million dollars, from 98 billion 957 million dollars to 97 billion 685 million dollars.

Thus, the total reserves of the Central Bank increased by 5 billion 115 million dollars in the week of June 19 compared to the previous week, rising from 152 billion 81 million dollars to 157 billion 196 million dollars.
