Global markets started the week under selling pressure as conflicts flared up again in the Middle East.

Tension rose again in the Middle East with the mutual attacks of the parties in the US/Israel-Iran War. The increasing intensity of the conflicts has weakened the expectations that a diplomatic compromise could be achieved in the near term.

The tension in the region, which remained relatively calm after the ceasefire on April 8, escalated again with the mutual attacks of Israel and Iran. Israel announced that it carried out retaliatory air operations against some targets in Iran following the Tehran administration’s ballistic missile attacks.

While there has been no concrete attack news regarding direct military intervention from the US front so far, it has been observed that the conflicts are mainly concentrated between Israel and Iran.

Analysts stated that real effective exchange rate data will be followed in the country today, while the data agenda is calm abroad, and noted that technically, 13,500 and 13,540 points in the BIST 100 index are support, and 13,600 and 13,700 levels are resistance.
