While non-residents sold $284.6 million worth of stocks last week, they bought $1.3 million worth of Government Domestic Debt Securities (GDBS) and $110.2 million worth of Sector Issues Other than General Government (PST).
The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye published “Weekly Securities Statistics”.
Accordingly, while non-residents sold 284.6 million dollars of stocks in the week of May 15, they bought 1.3 million dollars of GDS and 110.2 million dollars of ÖST.
The stock of non-residents, which was 45 billion 832.2 million dollars in the week of May 8, decreased to 44 billion 399.7 million dollars in the week of May 15.
In the same period, while the GDDS stock of people residing abroad decreased from 15 billion 273.3 million dollars to 15 billion 60.2 million dollars, the ÖST stock increased from 1 billion 485.1 million dollars to 1 billion 588.9 million dollars.
