Secret UFO files now online. What is included? Mysterious recordings and old FBI documents. The Pentagon opens archives to the public for the first time.
Extraterrestrials and other unknown phenomena: The US Department of Defense has begun releasing new files on UFOs. It is the first publication of previously secret files “on unidentified anomalous phenomena,” said the Pentagon in Washington. The American people now have immediate access to the documents.
On a Pentagon website about unidentified anomalous phenomena, there are black and white photos of flying objects as well as older documents from ministries and authorities. The first release contains a good 160 files.
US President Donald Trump announced a publication months ago. Now the first tranche has been released for public inspection, he wrote on his Truth Social platform. He instructed his government to “identify and provide government files relating to extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena and unidentified flying objects.”
While previous administrations have failed to be transparent on the matter, with these new documents and videos, people can now decide for themselves: “WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE? Have fun and enjoy it!” Trump continued.

Trump announced in February that he would release files on these and other “highly complex but extremely interesting and important topics.”
Due to the “enormous interest,” he instructed Defense Minister Pete Hegseth and other ministries and authorities to identify and release relevant material. The announcement came at a time when there was particular pressure on Trump to publish all files on the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
