CBRT President Fatih Karahan is expected to make a presentation to the MPs at the Commission, which will meet on May 5 under the chairmanship of Planning and Budget Commission Chairman and AK Party Samsun Deputy Mehmet Muş.
Karahan is expected to make a comprehensive presentation at the meeting within the framework of global developments, Turkish economy, inflation and monetary policy.
It is estimated that the CBRT’s interest rate decisions and developments regarding the fight against inflation will be the prominent topics of the meeting.
According to the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey Law, the President is required to inform the GNAT Planning and Budget Commission about the Bank’s activities and monetary policy practices.
