Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk’s US-based aviation company SpaceX aims to submit the prospectus for its IPO to regulatory authorities this week or next week.
According to the news in The Information, based on a source close to the subject, consultants involved in the preparation process for the IPO expect SpaceX to provide more than $75 billion from the IPO.
The news stated that the share allocated to individual investors may exceed 20 percent, but this rate has not been finalized yet.
Reuters could not yet confirm the news. SpaceX did not respond to questions on the subject.
The IPO in question could make Elon Musk the world’s first trillionaire. According to Bloomberg Billionare Index, Elon Musk’s fortune is $652 billion.
