A few days ago, OpenAI signed an agreement with the US Department of Defense after its rival Anthropic, which did not give up on some principles, was eliminated from US defense tenders.
The news about the agreement that OpenAI is considering with NATO appeared for the first time in the Wall Street Journal.
OpenAI’s rival Anthropic was removed from the Pentagon’s classified computing networks because it prevented the technologies it developed from being used to target weapons or monitor US citizens. Additionally, US President Donald Trump ordered government agencies to stop working with Antropic.
