The Russian military hits the Ukrainian port city with ballistic missiles. There are dead and injured.

At least eight people were killed in a Russian missile attack on the Ukrainian port city of Odessa overnight. Another 27 people were injured, some seriously, the state civil defense announced on Facebook. A bus carrying passengers was also hit in the attack on a port facility. Trucks and cars also caught fire in a parking lot. The information cannot be independently verified.

Just on Thursday, a woman was killed in a Russian drone attack on a car in Odessa. Their three children were seriously injured, regional military administrator Oleh Kiper said on Telegram.

Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin ordered the invasion of Ukraine almost four years ago. Since then, Russia has waged a destructive war of aggression on its neighboring country. The civilian population of Ukraine in particular is repeatedly targeted by Russian attacks.
