In the written statement made by the Ministry, it was stated that under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and in line with the production, investment, employment and export-oriented economic policies of the government, the support to facilitate tradesmen and craftsmen’s access to finance is continued with determination, and said, “In this context, it is aimed to strengthen the working capital of our tradesmen and craftsmen, support the sustainability of their activities and increase their contribution to economic life with the treasury-supported loan applications carried out under the guarantee of our credit and guarantee cooperatives affiliated with the Ministry of Commerce. In the first five months of 2026 (January 1 – May 31, 2026), a total of 63.1 billion lira of treasury-backed financing was provided to our tradesmen and craftsmen within the scope of 83 thousand 420 loans. In the period from 2002 to May 31, 2026, the total amount of treasury-supported loans provided to our tradesmen and craftsmen is approximately 802.9 billion within the scope of 4 million 681 thousand 831 loans. “It has reached 1000 liras.”

The statement also included the financial support in recent years and said:
`When the financial supports provided in recent years are examined; Treasury-backed loans amounting to 164 billion liras were provided within the scope of 441 thousand 151 loans in 2023, 114.8 billion liras within the scope of 232 thousand 192 loans in 2024, and 175.8 billion liras within the scope of 257 thousand 709 loans in 2025. Our tradesmen and craftsmen; It continues to be one of the basic elements of production, trade, employment and social life. As the Ministry of Commerce, we see the strengthening of our tradesmen and craftsmen, increasing their competitiveness and improving financing opportunities among our primary goals. In line with the Türkiye Century vision; We will continue to facilitate our tradesmen and craftsmen’s access to financing, alleviate loan costs, and support new investment and growth opportunities.
