38 percent increase in electricity prices: Valid from July 1

A 38 percent increase was made to residential electricity usage. EPDK announced that the increased tariffs will be valid as of July 1.

The statement made by EPDK is as follows:

Due to the increase in energy production costs, final electricity retail sales prices have increased by 38% for the residential subscriber group, 30% for the agricultural activities subscriber group, 38% for the low level of the public and private services sector subscriber group and 20% for the high level.

With this increase, the amount to be paid for a residential subscriber with 100 kWh electricity consumption has become 207.23 TL.

Tariffs will be valid as of July 1, 2024.
