The ceremony was held at the Ministry of Family and Social Services; Minister Mahinur Ozdemir Goktas, disabled civil servants, ministry staff and many guests attended. At the ceremony, the list of disabled citizens who was entitled to the public announced by the Presidency of Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (OSYM) was reflected on the screen. Later, the draws of 1830 disabled citizens who were appointed to the public with the lottery held in the presence of a notary public were announced.
‘We conducted revolutionary studies’
Minister Göktaş wished the new duties of disabled citizens to be beneficial, “The participation of our disabled brothers in employment is an indication of the value given to human dignity, labor and equal opportunities. To take part in their working life contributes to their own lives. In this sense, our disabled brothers and sisters. In order to support in every field, we have done all the efforts and efforts of our disabled citizens in the last 23 years. We have implemented with the understanding of all our disabled brothers and sisters to participate in the daily life. We have obliged to employ disabled people to the public and private sector, “he said.

Stating that they have increased the number of disabled people working in the public and private sector with facilitating and encouraging policies, Göktaş said, “We transferred resources to protected workplaces that regulate the working environments according to the needs of disabled people. We will continue to meet the number of disabled people in this context. We believe that when we removed the obstacles in front of each individual, we have witnessed our brothers and sisters. As the Ministry, we are determined to create new opportunities for the employment of our disabled citizens and to provide working environments where they can use their abilities in the best way, “he said
