Cape Town Backpackers- Fat Pony Backpackers & Riding Centre a family run, child & biker friendly farmhouse hostel on the doorstep of Cape Winelands. Stay in a rustic farmhouse with a warm, friendly welcome & a log fire, just 30 mins from Cape Town. Open all year & 10 to 60 minutes from many local activities, making Fat Pony an ideal base from which to explore the Western Cape. With ensuite dorms, mini dorms & grassy camping- Fat Pony have something for nearly everyone & all are welcome. Chill, relax & do your own thing or hire a bike to explore Cape Winelands & enjoy some wine tasting along the way. Visit Table Mountain, Robben Island or a museum, laze on a sunny beach, enjoy some water sports, play a round or two of golf, go fishing, swimming, horse riding, mountain biking or hiking- the choice is yours to do as much or as little as you wish...

Fat Pony also offer conference facilities & function room hire complete with audiovisual equipment & catering for small groups.
