Good day, I am currently putting an asset management system together for the company I work for. Basically they have 34 branches country wide and we need a system that will be able to track assets if they are transferred between branches, acquired, disposed or stolen. We are looking at the barcoding system, scanners, labelling and the software to support it, however if there is a better and more cost efficient way to do this we are open to your advice. Will you please provide me with what I will need to do this as well as the cost involved? If you can give me a few different options and explain how they work, I can do a proposal to the director.
